artwae (artw.ae) is a community internet radio station with a live chat. by using the site you agree to the rules below. they're short on purpose.

1. accounts

you can use artwae without an account, but signing up gets you a username and longer chat messages. when you sign up you give us a username, an email, and a password. keep your password to yourself. don't pretend to be someone you're not. one person, one account.

2. uploads — original music only

only upload music you made or that you have the rights to share. no ripping other people's songs, no reuploading commercial tracks, no stems you don't own. artwae is built for independent artists to share their own work, not for redistributing someone else's. if you upload something you don't have the rights to, we'll take it down and your account may be suspended.

by uploading, you're letting artwae play your track on the station, list it on your profile, and show its title/cover to listeners. you keep ownership of your music. we're not buying it from you.

3. the chat

be cool. specifically:

• no slurs, no targeted harassment, no threats.
• no doxxing or sharing other people's private info.
• no spam, no scam links, no constant self-promo.
• don't impersonate other people, including artists or staff.

4. moderation

we keep it light. admins can delete chat messages and suspend accounts that break the rules. there's no formal appeal process right now — if you think a suspension was a mistake, email us and we'll look.

5. things we can do

• change these terms (we'll note the date at the top).
• take down uploads that break the rules or get reported.
• suspend or delete accounts.
• change, pause, or shut down the site or the stream at any time.

6. no warranties

artwae is provided "as is." stuff might break. the stream might go down. we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfect.

7. liability

to the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the site. if something we did causes you a real problem, our total liability is limited to what you've paid us (which is zero, since the site is free).
